Why ?
To protect the driver when they exit a vehicle in a crash, and to warn oncoming traffic of the danger.

Its advantage is that it has an independent energy source and is accessible close to the driver. In the event of an accident, the driver can exit the vehicle safely thanks to the bright warning light and also mark out the road with the security triangle.
Principle :
Energy is collected by solar pannels and stored in a battery. This creates an independent source of energy ready to use at any moment.
