2004 : La Balise (sécuri-pass et grande ourse)

Why ?

When an accident happens, the electrical circuit of a car isn’t cut-off automatically. This invention, a rotating light withits own source of energy displays to emergency services that power is cut-off.

Principle: Placed just next to the battery, the system turns off the battery when a crash happens, and at the same time starts a small revolving light on the dashboard, equipped with its own source of power.

Industrial versions:

The industrial version is a box that is placed near the battery. This box cuts off power when a heavy shock is felt and sets a small rotating light into motion. It is placed on the dashboard of the car. The light has its own power supply and recharges immediately thanks to its charger.

Invention acknowledged in May 2004 at the Lépine contest.
